I followed their directions, deleted a few Microsoft apps, and the program still wouldn’t install on my PC. Their final instructions were: “If condition persists, you are advised to refresh windows and then try to install the program on your PC, as a possible solution.

Looks like I am out of my money because there is no return on this online product. I purchased Adobe Premier Elements 15 and had no difficulty with that download. One person found this helpful. Until someone either CyberLink or Amazon resolves this download issue, my rating will be 1 star since this product I have purchased is still completely broken.

Once I was able to provide proof of purchase, CyberLink support provided me with download links to the application. Took about 1 day. All Amazon wanted to do is refund the purchase and have me purchase it again- only issue is that the PC Download was taken down, so I’d be left with nothing good thing I checked before agreeing to the terrible advice provided by the Customer Rep.

I know this software isn’t directed toward film industry professionals as much as it is for enthusiasts, but its definitely great for your average person like me who has a lot of videos from gopro and DSLR and want to make a decent video for youtube or sharing with friends and family. It has very easy to access features and online tutorials that show you how to do pretty much most of the things you would ever need to do with video editing, although I’m sure you can get into the more advanced stuff too.

I’ve never really tried Adobe Premiere in full depth so I can’t comment on the comparison, but because I’ve been using past versions of PowerDirector, I feel comfortable to use it as each version is not too much different that I can’t pick up and use it without having to learn a new UI all over again.

And they offer different editions depending on your needs, and even the basic 3 editions aren’t too expensive and are a step up from the free ones you can use in terms of compatibility and ease of use. Quick and easy to learn and use. I watched a few tutorial videos and was on my way.
